Privacy Policy

Viral Dish (the “Service”) makes promotional videos from food and restaurant photos uploaded by restaurant owners. We collect only the information needed to make your videos, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
1. What we collect
- Account info — email address, name (as provided by Kakao, Apple or Google when you sign in with them), and your password if you sign up by email (stored encrypted)
- Restaurant info — restaurant name, address, phone number and description, plus the Google Maps or Yelp link you enter and the public information we import from it (rating and some reviews)
- Photos and videos — menu and restaurant photos, finished videos, and on-screen text
- Messages — anything you send through “Contact us” in the app
2. How we use it
- Signing you in and verifying your account
- Writing ad copy and narration, enhancing photos and putting videos together
- Restaurant applications (your name, restaurant name, city, Google Maps/Instagram link, email and phone) are used only to confirm that the restaurant is real and to send you a sign-up link
- Answering your messages and fixing errors — the operator may view videos you make to check quality and resolve problems
3. Service providers
To make your videos, we send only the minimum necessary information to these companies:
- OpenAI — ad copy and narration, restaurant info lookup (photos and restaurant info)
- Higgsfield — photo enhancement and motion video (photos)
- Railway — servers and storage (all data)
- Stripe — payments (we never see or store your full card number)
- Google · Kakao · Apple — sign-in verification, if you choose that sign-in
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete videos in the app at any time, and delete your whole account yourself under My restaurant › Delete account. You can also request deletion at the email below and we will delete it within 7 days.
5. Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie and a cookie that remembers your language choice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
